About the meeting
The Cancer Biology meeting has a long-standing history of bringing together the Dutch community of cancer biology researchers –– there have been 30 previous meetings! This meeting was previously known as the 'KWF Tumor cell biology meeting', and is especially focused on providing early-stage researchers (PhD students, postdocs) with the opportunity to present and discuss their research. We intend to provide an opportunity for the broad Dutch research community to meet and interact (e.g., this meeting is not restricted to KWF/Oncode-affiliated researchers). Researchers who study the broad field of tumor cell biology from all Dutch institutes are cordially invited.
The meeting will feature presentations by two keynote speakers. In addition to these speakers, the program will formed by talks by registered early-career researchers. We will provide an excellent platform to meet, present and discuss ongoing projects, and to maintain and initiate collaborations. The meeting program will be based on the abstracts that are submitted and will thus only become available shortly prior to the meeting.
Every year we attempted to keep the meeting costs as low as possible. Registration costs will include hotel room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks during the conference party. Costs will be visible when registration opens.
